The pandemic has exacerbated challenges faced by vulnerable young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) Australia requires $3000~ to onboard a mentor, however over 1000 volunteers remain on the waiting list due to insufficient funding.

Hourly is a donation app that invites busy people to donate an hour of their salary, in exchange for an hour of time to spend however they like.

The app calculates your hourly* rate, relative to your salary, and encourages you to donate that amount to Big Brothers Big Sisters. In return, Hourly lets you block out an hour of free time in your work schedule.

This sparks conversations about the value of time and the impact of donations. Hourly provides an accessible way for everyone to be part of the solution and help young people in need, while integrating into their daily life.
